What channel is Jaguars vs. Dolphins on today? Time, TV schedule for 2021 NFL London game

[ad_1]

The NFL sends two of its   teams to London this weekend.

A weekend after the Falcons and Jets played in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Dolphins and Jaguars take the trip across the pond to show down in the second and final London game of 2021.

The United Kingdom gets its first taste of Jaguars wunderkind Trevor Lawrence, who has been on the ascent this season: Lawrence has been putting together solid performance after solid performance, though the Jags are still looking to capitalize on those performance to capture their first win on the year.

The Dolphins face a different quarterback conundrum of their own. Miami expects Tua Tagovailoa to make his return this weekend, missing the last three weeks while nursing rib injuries. Jacoby Brissett played fine in his stead, but the Dolphins plan to give the keys back to Tagovailoa to find their first win since Week 1.

Someone’s losing streak will come to an end in the North end. Here’s what you need to know about Sunday’s international matchup:

NFL international games 2021

After the coronavirus pandemic threw a wrench in the plans of the league in 2020, NFL teams are traveling beyond United States borders again in 2021, with two games to be played in London, both at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

  • The Jets and Falcons provided the first of the two matchups in Week 5 (Oct. 10), with the Falcons taking a 27-20 win back stateside.
  • The Dolphins and Jaguars follow them, playing in London on Oct. 17 (Week 6).

Jaguars schedule 2021

The Jaguars enter Sunday’s game still looking for their first win on the season.

Things have been fairly tumultuous for Trevor Lawrence’s rookie season, mostly coming from first-year head coach Urban Meyer. While Jacksonville has come tantalizingly close to grabbing wins earlier in the year, Lawrence and the Jags remain winless, with their first — and potentially last — “winnable” game for the next month.

The Jags have a Bye Week following their visit to the U.K.:

Dolphins schedule 2021

The Dolphins are in the midst of a down year, the second of Tua Tagovailoa’s career, who has missed time with rib injuries this season. In his stead, Brian Flores turned to backup Jacoby Brissett, who signed with Miami prior to the start of the 2021 season.

Brissett couldn’t lock down a win in Tagovailoa’s absence.

With a single win on the season, Miami looks to end its four-game losing streak and get back in the win column on Sunday:
